An artful view of MOOCs forum exchanges across the world

Emma Lejal-Glaude, a student working at the CEDE for her semester project, developed a smooth visualisation of student interactions in EPFL MOOC forums. We can see the average pattern of interactions over a 24h period in the entire world (in both French and English language), as well as inwards and outwards of Lausanne.┬áThe visualisation nicely captures the vibrant engagement of the international MOOCs community in our home-made courses, as they answer to each others’ posts and comments, illustrating in an artful way the success of the EPFL MOOC initiative.
